As a United States Marine Corps veteran, Michael brings firsthand experience defending our country both at home and abroad. Serving as a U.S. Marine Corps Officer, he understands the vital importance of a strong military—ready to face threats from terrorism, the Chinese Communist Party, and any adversary that challenges American sovereignty. His leadership is grounded in service, sacrifice, and a deep sense of duty to our nation’s security.

Michael’s executive experience in the private sector sets him apart as a leader who delivers results. At industry giants Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Amazon, he has driven innovation, championed job creation, and enhanced America’s competitiveness in a fast-changing global economy. He knows what it takes to rebuild the American economy and fortify our workforce for the future.

As three time President of the Tomball ISD Board of Trustees, Michael has been a tireless advocate for parents and students. He has fought to protect parental rights and shield our schools from the influence of divisive ideologies. Michael has been a key figure in moving Tomball ISD from good to great. Today, Tomball ISD is Texas’s 38th District’s only “A”-rated school district (and oh by the way, Harris and Montgomery counties too). Guided by his leadership, Tomball ISD remains committed to excellence, transparency, fiscal conservatism, and the traditional values that make our community strong.

Michael’s roots in our community run deep. He and his wife, Jennifer, raised three children who all graduated from Tomball ISD schools. His life is anchored in faith, family, and service—from his time as a U.S. Marine to his leadership in both the public and private sectors. These experiences drive his dedication to fighting for Texas and ensuring that conservative values shape the future of our state.

Michael’s educational background reflects a lifelong commitment to learning and leadership. He earned a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from Tulane University, an MBA from Texas Christian University, and completed his Doctor of Education studies at the University of Southern California.

Guided by faith and a commitment to service, Michael and his family worship at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Michael supports America First policies that secure our borders, protect families, restore military strength, and defend our children from harmful ideologies.
